Who I Am
I build AI-powered products as a solo founder under Shahriar Labs. My stack is Go for backends, TypeScript/Next.js for frontends, and Python where ML matters. I use Claude Code as my primary engineering agent with a custom skills layer on top.
I obsess over system design — how components fit, how they fail, how they scale without becoming liabilities. Every product I ship starts with the boring, proven technology: PostgreSQL, ECS, a simple HTTP API. AI gets added where it genuinely helps, not as a feature flag.
I've shipped eight products and 170+ open-source repos from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Working across GMT+6 means I often overlap with both European mornings and North American afternoons — which works well for distributed collaboration.
This blog is where I write what I wish existed when I was building the hard parts: real architecture decisions, real cost numbers, real trade-offs. Not tutorials — engineering logs.
